The whole of my life I have been an artist but never practiced it as a profession. Although I have a few years of college classes, my primary learning is informal. My art ranging from abstract, realistic, caricatures with a dash of photography thrown in. My latest lean is towards art cards, comics aka graphic novels.

Visual Artist? Storyteller? Clown?

Storytelling even when oral is essentially painting a picture for the audience. A good writer, visual artist, director, dancer, actor or clown makes it possible for their audiences to see the story. It won't be the same picture or story for me or the person two rows or two countries over. But, if the creator crafts it well we"re lead into some very interesting worlds and we meet some unexpectedly wonderful characters.
That is my aim.

Amongst comic artist, deviantart is often mentioned. So I decided to take another look. My art ranges across different styles, genre from abstract, cartoony, realistic and then throw in photography. There are a few other sites I'm considering because they are more graphic design oriented. My thinking cap is on.
